
SISTERS - A NEW IRISH MUSICAL
Role: Lorna
Dublin, 1971. Bernadette Boland, a young single mother gets shunned by the deeply catholic Irish community for having an illegitimate child. When she takes a new job at Gaj’s Restaurant, she meets Lorna and Ger who are part of the Irish Women’s Liberation Movement. Bernadette gets swept up in the growing movement and has to learn how to stand up for herself and for her loved ones.

Based on real people and events, Sisters pays tribute to the women who first stood up for equal rights in Ireland and shows the early beginnings of a long and successful journey to female empowerment.
